Support Engineer
Overview
Clearspring Technologies, is the leading widget development and syndication platform for Web 2.0, reaching over 127M unique viewers every month. The Clearspring widget platform is being leveraged by a rapidly growing list of premier media companies across the globe including the BBC, Paramount, NBC, Walt Disney Company, MTV, and The National Football League.
We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused individual to support our world-wide community of platform users. This is a high-impact position where you will be providing support for a software-as-service platform on the leading edge of Web 2.0 and the Internet's evolution, working alongside talent people, and having a blast along the way.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to multiple client and platform related technical support issues to escalation/resolution
- Diagnose Flash and JavaScript issues related to the Clearspring platform and API's
- Provide client feedback to the product, engineering, and QA groups to improve platform user experience
- Work with product and technical solutions team to identify and create self-serving user support initiatives
- Work with engineering and product teams to provide complete and accurate answers to community members questions
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge base and help tools to facilitate self-service support
Required Skills/Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Flash, ActionScript, HTML
- Passion for working with customers and solving new and exciting problems in a fast paced, Internet-speed environment
- Demonstrated ability to apply reasoning and pattern recognition skills to diagnose issues
- Proven ability to take initiative and apply all applicable resources to problem solving, by applying strong reasoning and research skills
- Extraordinary technical, personal, and written communication skills
