Product Management Manager

Clearspring is seeking an energetic and talented Manager of Product Management to help make the Clearspring widget platform the most broadly used platform for creating, distributing, measuring and monetizing widgets. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running with strong product management skills and a background in online data collection and measurement tools.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of product management for the Clearspring analytics platform.
- Work with business units, engineering, and other product managers to define and manage the roadmap and strategic vision for the analytics platform.
- Identify new areas for product development by analyzing customer requirements, internal feedback, market trends and competitive gaps.
- Assist Client Services and Sales in educating customers and prospects on the use of the Clearspring platform — includes data interpretation and advising on implementation techniques and solutions.
- Monitor product throughout release cycles and communicate status through written and verbal communication.
- Evangelize the product vision throughout the organization.
Required Skills/Experience
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2-5 years experience as a Product Manager for Web-based software products.
- Strong technical understanding of Internet technologies and the operations of commercial Web analytics solutions, ad-serving systems, and/or behavioral marketing.
- Strong technical understanding and proven ability to interact with Engineers to identify and solve technical issues.
- Deep understanding of software platforms and related business issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and the Clearspring customer base.
- Proficient in working with MS Excel and relationship databases; Experience using and/or implementing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Visual Sciences.
- Strong team player with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally to drive projects and strategic initiatives to completion.
