Manager, Media Analytics
Overview
Clearspring Technologies, is the leading widget development and syndication platform. We are looking to add a talented Manager, Social Media Analytics to our McLean, VA team. The selected candidate will focus identifying; analyzing and synthesizing key business intelligence and analytics data related to the performance of the Clearspring platform and related widget campaigns.
This is a unique opportunity to participate in and shape the way business intelligence data from over 125 million unique monthly users is aggregated and leveraged in a rapidly evolving segment of the Web. This is a high impact position which dramatically effects both short and long-term strategies related to company strategy, widget campaigns, and the direction of the Clearspring platform and related product offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver client-facing analyses and presentations that assess performance of widget campaigns and recommend widget strategies
- Deliver qualitative and quantitative analyses which positively clients' understanding of widget performance and strategy
- Leverage Clearspring's extensive normalized proprietary data to codify and disseminate widget creation, marketing and strategy best practices
- Effectively synthesize data such that is can be easily communicated, understood and re-used by a wide range of internal and external audiences
Required Skills/Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing Research, Finance or other analytical discipline
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing analytical role, preferably involving Web analytics, business intelligence and/or online media
- Functional knowledge of Web analytics, data mining, statistical analysis and forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, disparate data sets into concise and coherent stories which are relevant to wide ranges of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling presentation with little lead time
- Proven ability to prioritize new requests and projects with existing work flow in fast-changing environment
- Extraordinary conceptual and analytical abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
