Flash Developer

We are seeking a talented, dynamic interactive design and development professional to apply their creativity and technical skills to the creation of data-driven, distributed web applications (widgets). Using advanced Flash, ActionScript and Clearspring's industry-leading application development and syndication platform you will develop highly-visible, interactive widgets which help launch movies, television shows, and other world-wide media initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to gather requirements and create designs for distributed Flash applications
- Work collaboratively with creative teams to meet multiple projects within allotted
- Develop creative concepts and online mock ups in a rapid, iterative environment
- Program interfaces that scale and extend elegantly (a.k.a. killer widgets that will blow your mind)
- Develop subject matter expertise on state of the art in widget technologies, integrating the latest designs into our customer's applications
- Work with Clearspring Platform team to identify product/platform requirements
Required Skills/Experience
- 3+ years experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript and ActionScript interactive applications
- Proven interactive design experience via a reference able online portfolio (all applications should include links or other access to portfolio assets)
- Data driven UI experience (using XML, web services, databases)
- Experience using PHP and MySQL to create scalable web services and data storage
- Experience working with external clients to designing and developing online/offline creative
- Knowledge of design principles, composition, color theory, and brand adherence
- Demonstrated experience with Photoshop, or other illustration platforms
- Flash/ActionScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience in a Linux environment
- Skilled in developing creatives that interoperate with iFrames and flash policy constraints. Experience with creatives that work across browsers and platforms
- Knowledge of Laszlo, Flex, Dojo, Open Rico, or other rich application frameworks a plus
